It appears our boys (the actives) are doing their part around Ada.  We've received the positive news from Jake (their faculty adviser) of the great work they've been doing.  As well as recognization from President Ken Baker.  Good job, guys!

"Hello all:

I just wanted to take some time this morning and share some very positive news about two of ONU's fraternities and sororities (Delta Sigma Phi and Kappa Alpha Theta). They teamed up this Sunday and raked leaves around the community of Ada. I believe they did a total of nine houses yesterday afternoon. They had a terrific turnout--as you can see by the picture I have attached. I think around 45 or 50 students participated in the event. They finished their leaf raking on Christopher Circle in Ada, which has A LOT of trees and leaves. My two neighbors where ecstatic when they saw that their yard was being cleaned up by this fine crew. I was also very happy for their service (I have about 30 trees in my yard).

Anyway, I just wanted to pass on this good news about our students doing community service here in Ada.

Sincerely,
Jake  (faculty adviser to Delta Sigma Phi)"

"How cool is that, Jake!!  Thanks for letting us know about this great service!!

CONGRATULATIONS and MANY THANKS to the Delts and the Thetas!!!  [And, thanks, as well, for the great photo!!]

Ken"
