We would like to extend our sympathies and prayers to Brother Tom Bidlack on the passing of his wife Melinda.

From Tom:  "Melinda, after a very brave and courageous fight with cancer, is now at peace and has gone home to be with our Father.  I realize there are a lot of people receiving this that are out of state and will be unable to attend due to schedules. I totally understand and so would Melinda. We realize you will be there in thought and prayer and that is appreciated."

Memorial Services for Melinda R. Bidlack of Queen Creek, Arizona, formerly of Painesville Township, Ohio will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Allen Funeral Home 1130 S. Horne Mesa, AZ 85204 from 3 PM to 5 PM (http://www.allenfuneralhome.net).

Melinda passed away peacefully on January 10, 2010, at Hospice Family Care in Gilbert, Arizona.

She was born February 18, 1955, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She moved to the west 10 years ago to be out of the cold weather. Melinda enjoyed to shop and travel all over. One of her favorite hobbies was collecting turtles of all shapes and sizes from around the world. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Tom. Sons, Jason of Queen Creek, Arizona and Ryan of Willowick, Ohio along with her mother, Ruth, of Queen Creek and her sister, Martha, of Pocono Summit, PA.

Melinda was team captain of a team for Queen Creek Relay for Life the past two years; she was named “Woman of the Year” for the Sheauga Chapter of the American Business Woman’s Association in 1998; she was past president of the Hale Road Elementary PTO and loved doing all types of craft projects. She always put others before herself.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to either: Hospice Family Care (http://www.hfc-az.com ) or Queen Creek Relay for Life, Team Saving Grace – team captain Jamey Grant (http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=21977)
